We’ve seen it all before: the low budget films that repeat the same, annoying 16-bar synth sequence from start to finish; the amazing video game with a lame heroic theme; or the YouTube channels and podcasts with JUSTIN BIEBER outros.
But should we really expect someone who specializes in film or video game design to master creating and using appropriate background music?
People underestimate the power of music in a film. Music builds suspense, adds tension, provides relief, evokes happiness, or encourages sadness. Music helps build a memorable brand, define a business, or tell a story.
